Pari Island Bazaar Records Turnover of Over Rp 24 Million

A bazar held by Seribu Islands Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Sub-agency on Thursday (7/31) to Friday (8/1) on Pari Island successfully booked turnover up to Rp 24,787,000.

Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Hidayat, said that the activity, which was participated by 25 MSMEs, was a means of promotion and direct marketing of their products.

"This is also our effort to encourage economic activity among residents, while also facilitating access to food at affordable prices," he said.

Marunda Festival Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm

He added that the MSMEs market several of their products, such as squid sticks, fish crackers, otak-otak, salted fish, breadfruit chips, boiled crab and anchovies.

There was also a cheap market that sold basic necessities from Perum Bulog, such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and flour.

"Thankfully they booked selling up to Rp 13,520,000," he added.

Pari Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Ardiansyah, appreciated his event. He assesses that the event was able to promote the local products of Pari Island.

"Hopefully this such event can be held again to promote local products widely," he hoped.
